Honoring Our Legacy with Special Olympics Michigan

Friday, November 7th was a night to remember as leaders, partners, and champions of inclusion gathered at one of Detroit’s most iconic venues, Michigan Central Station, for the Special Olympics Michigan Ties & Tennies Gala 2025. Among the evening’s most meaningful moments was the recognition of Reinhart Realtors as the 2025 Legacy Award recipient.

This prestigious award honors an organization that has demonstrated an unmatched commitment to volunteerism, grassroots fundraising, and corporate support, and Special Olympics Michigan proudly recognized Reinhart Realtors for the impact made on athletes across the state.

Throughout the evening, Special Olympics Michigan highlighted the long-standing partnership between Reinhart Realtors, the Real Estate One Family of Companies, and the Real Estate One Charitable Foundation, celebrating the tangible difference this collective support has made in the lives of SOMI athletes. Because of the dedication, generosity, and enthusiasm of our agents, staff, leadership, and supporters, more than $305,000 was raised to directly benefit Special Olympics athletes throughout Michigan.

In addition, the Real Estate One Charitable Foundation was honored with a Presenting Sponsorship Award, further underscoring the support our family provides to Special Olympics Michigan.

This recognition is a reflection of a shared belief in inclusion, opportunity, and the power of community.
