UPCOMING EVENTS

Walk to End Alzheimer's at the Detroit Zoo on October 29th

On Saturday, we will gather together to enjoy a beautiful fall stroll through the Detroit Zoo in support of the Alzheimer’s Association and its dedication to end Alzheimer’s disease. The forecast looks sunny and the temperatures will be crisp – exactly how a Michigan fall day should be for such a special event.

Our Family of Companies has three teams participating in this event, each working hard to raise funds in support of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. We’ve had a few more people join our teams to walk and a few more have made donations in support of others thus far. Won’t you join in the effort to raise awareness and funding for such an important cause? Bring the family out as supporters of the Walk and gain free entry into the Zoo. All participants must be registered using the easy links below. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraising pages will be open until the end of next week for donations.

An estimated 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia. In the United States alone, more than 6 million have Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million are providing unpaid care. The Alzheimer’s Association addresses this crisis by providing education and support to the millions who face dementia every day, while advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

Our Southgate office, leading the volunteer team that will be manning the registration for the event, could use some more volunteers. If you would like to be included on the awesome registration team, please reach out to the Southgate office for information. Our Commerce office is joining in the effort with a Walk team, fundraising and volunteering at registration.

We invite you to join in support of the Alzheimer’s Association and our REO Walk teams by becoming a walker/fundraiser and/or donating to one of our team members.
