Record Breaking Year Makes a Difference for Special Olympics Michigan

Our Family of Companies has long believed that when we come together, we make a difference. Recent efforts supporting Special Olympics Michigan are a great example of what can be accomplished when our team members rally behind a shared cause.

Earlier this month, the Special Olympics Michigan Summer Games, where 29 volunteers from across our Family of Companies spent two days helping with bocce competitions. Our team was the largest volunteer group both days, assisting on 15 courts and helping moderate matches for nearly 1,000 athletes competing in singles and doubles events.

The momentum continued at our 21st Annual Screen Door Open "Fore" Special Olympics Michigan at Fox Hills in Plymouth. The sold-out outing welcomed 216 golfers, 29 business sponsors, and raised a record-breaking $65,000 for Special Olympics Michigan, surpassing the previous fundraising record by more than $2,200.

From fundraising and sponsorships to volunteering and cheering on athletes, these efforts reflect the caring spirit of our family and the incredible things we can accomplish together.

Thank you to everyone who golfed, volunteered, sponsored, donated, or supported these efforts behind the scenes. Your generosity and teamwork continue to make a difference for Special Olympics Michigan and the athletes they serve.
